[Ugnayan Tambayan: Hinga at Sigla] Join us on April 27 at a new venue!
Join us for the last of our events this month to connect with your breath, body and community!
Hello, mga ka-Ugnayan!
After doing our Likha Ginhawa sessions in La Union and Baguio, we’re back in Manila for a slightly different kind Ugnayan Tambayan.
Join us for an afternoon of mind-body awareness and meaningful connections at Hinga at Sigla, a wellbeing workshop with Ugnayan co-creators Jen and Kookie, and Diwa Movement on April 27, 4-6:30pm at Motherland Studio!
Here are some details for the gathering:
HINGA AT SIGLA: A wellbeing workshop
APRIL 27, SATURDAY | 4:00PM-6:30PM
📍Motherland Studio*
* Due to the extreme heat we're currently facing, we decided that it would be more conducive for the workshop to rent out an indoor space with air-conditioning at a location still close to our original venue (UP). Motherland PH is a creative space where we hope you'll also feel more open to just be and share more freely!
SADYA NG PAGTITIPON
• To learn simple practices to connect with one's mind and body
• To connect with community in pursuit of wellbeing
LIMITED CAPACITY
To keep the intimacy and connectedness of the space, slots will be limited.
PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN
We believe that our Ugnayan gatherings support our vision of a more connected and compassionate world. This is why we try our best to connect with spaces and communities that hold similar values. We get so much joy and meaning from these experiences, which we dedicate a lot of time and energy in putting together.
We also recognize the resources we need to continue creating these spaces for collective care, while wanting to make them equitably accessible to whoever will find value in them.
To accommodate different capacities to pay, we’re offering slots for this on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a suggested range between P200 to P500.
ABOUT UGNAYAN CARDS
Ugnayan means connection in Tagalog. These cards were created to serve as a companion in cultivating more meaningful and liberating connection with one's self, others and the world through reflection and conversation. Through open-ended questions, inspired by concepts in wellbeing science, Filipino psychology, language and culture, Ugnayan invites you to create space for intentional grounding and joyful growth. By reconnecting with your own experiences and narrative, and listening to that of others, we hope to generate more empathy for ourselves and for each other towards a more mindful, fully expressed life.
